Overview

Quick Pitch

Klikdaily is an on-demand eCommerce app that simplifies the FMCG supply chain from an end-to-end perspective between retail brands, merchants and consumers in Indonesia. It aims to drive its social mission by empowering traditional / mom-n-pop stores in providing daily commodities to consumers at a cheaper price by bridging them to brand principals. Daily commodities such as water and gas are consumed by more than 40 million families in Indonesia every day. This represents a transaction of more than US$12 Billion per year!  However, logistical complexity, multiple layers of supply chain and the lack of access to brand principals have led to high retail prices (up to 50% more) of everyday commodities in Indonesia. Klikdaily hopes to solve this by connecting the brand principals to merchants to end-users through a single app.

Product/Service Details

  1. An eCommerce app that connects brand principals to the merchants and end consumers
  2. Group Buying System implemented on merchants’ app that helps to create direct access to Principals with better margin price
  3. Easy-to-use, small-scale ERP technology reinforcement provides business management reports (customer profiling, inventory, finance, transaction)
  4. The app allows merchants to sell their product to new customers by allowing them to expand their customers reach.

Problem/Opportunity

Currently, Indonesia offers more than US$12 billion per year in terms of FMCG market size (based on transaction volume)Kilkdaily serves 2 customer groups: B2B customers (traditional stores which mostly are technology illiterate) and B2C customers (end-users).

  • Logistical complexity, large number of supply chain layers and the lack of access to brand principals have led to high retail prices of everyday commodities in Indonesia.
  • There are 3.5 million local merchants who lack access to proper technology infrastructure, thus causing their business to suffer inventory data loss, incomplete financial records and missing out on sales opportunities.
  • Merchants spend 70% of their time idling in their store waiting for walk-in purchases.

Solution

Mobile technology with O2O (offline-to-online and online-to-offline) capability which offers these features:

1.) Group Buying System implemented on the app that provide direct connection to various Brand Principals.

2.) Easy-to-use ERP empowered technology which provides accountability reports.

3.) A wider reach for merchants to acquire and engage new customers.

How Does It Work?

The Klikdaily merchant app works as a small-scale ERP system - it records merchant transactions, inventory, finance and profiles customers offline and online. When merchant order products from brand principals, they will automatically be linked with fellow merchants through the group buying system. This system helps to collate similar orders within an area of proximity. With data analysis, we approach principals with product-market fit strategy and provide merchants with more than 1,000 SKU (Stock Keeping Unit).

Revenue Model

Klikdaily takes an average of 3% - 7% commission from a successful transaction between the principal and the merchant and an average of 3% - 5% commission from a successful transaction between merchants and consumers.

New Revenue Stream:

  1. Micro-financing: Provides financial services (loans, savings and insurances) to the merchants
  2. Ads: Advertising opportunities for Brand Principals thru both online and offline channels
  3. Shelves Space Renting: An area which merchant can lease their shelves space for special product

Sales Channel:

  1. Apps Sales: We sell our product through our mobile apps which are accessible by our merchants and end-consumers
  2. Direct Sales: We offer a traditional shopping method (by phone) to our B2B partners who might not be familiar with our mobile application while we continue to educate them on how to operate using our mobile application
